The purpose of this model call is to build my studio newborn photography portfolio.
Currently my newborn photography has taken place in people’s homes and has involved minimal posing of baby. I have recently taken training in safe newborn posing techniques in order to improve my newborn portraits and will be using these photo sessions to practice these poses.
Here’s a breakdown of exactly what the shoot will involve:

A free newborn photography shoot at my new natural light studio. (The address is 25 Hadzor Road, B68 9LA).

The shoot will need to take place on a weekday (Mon-Fri), ideally within the first three weeks of baby being born.

You will receive 5 edited digital images to download and print as you please.

The session will include photos of baby only. If you would like to add parent & sibling photos to your session please see below for add on options.

The session will last up to 3hrs, to allow time for settling, feeding and changing baby.

As the purpose of this free photo session is to build my portfolio you must consent to the photos being used for marketing purposes both online and in print.

Please note that I will need to handle baby to wrap and position them. I will use hand sanitiser and wear a mask for the duration of the shoot. Please read my studio Covid policies here.

Hot and cold drinks, and snacks will be provided.

Access to a bottle warmer is available. If bottle feeding please bring enough bottles/ formula for the duration of the session.

The studio has a toilet with nappy changing facilities and disabled access.

Parent & Sibling Photos – £95
If you’d like to add some family portraits to your session I’m happy to do this for the discounted rate of £95. For this you will receive a minimum of 10 edited digital photos in addition to the 5 photos of baby.
As a new mum myself, I completely understand the challenges that come in those early weeks. Which is why I want your studio experience to be luxurious and relaxing. There’s a shower in the studio bathroom so you don’t need to worry about trying to get photo-ready whilst settling a newborn. Turn up in your PJ’s and slippers if you need to! Enjoy a nice drink, a hot shower and get ready in peace whilst I take baby’s portraits. You will have access to my client wardrobe with a selection of beautiful dresses; and if you’d like a little extra pampering, I can also arrange a hair & make-up artist (at £50 for hair or makeup, or £85 for both).
Maternity Photo Session – £95
If you’d like to capture this exciting time before baby is born a maternity portrait session is available at the discounted rate of £95 (usually £155).
Available on weekdays (Mon-Fri) this shoot can take place at my studio, or outside in the beautiful setting of Warley Woods. Involve your partner and children if you’d like too. The shoot will last up to an hour and you will receive a minimum of 25 edited digital photos to download and print as you please.
You will have access to my client wardrobe with a selection of beautiful dresses; and if you’d like a little extra pampering, I can also arrange a hair & make-up artist (at £50 for hair or makeup, or £85 for both).
