On Saturday 18th July, I’ll be at Cotswold Lavender Farm for the day capturing mini sessions.
These 20 minute shoots are perfect for families, couples and individuals who’d like portraits against a stunning backdrop. Oh, and it’s a dog friendly space too, so if you have a doggo bring them along.

With rows of beautiful lavender fields to stroll through, as well as wild flower meadows to explore – there’s a variety of locations to capture some wonderful moments. Bring a picnic and make a day of it!

Here’s what you can expect

I’m all about capturing your family in photographs that really reflect who you all are, so there’s no getting you to stand in really stiff, staged poses for the camera. You can expect my artistic eye helping to guide and gently pose you in front of the camera, so I can get the kind of photographs that show you at your best self. You’ll get my calm and patient personality which is always useful when working with little ones. And you get the reassurance that I know what I’m doing when it comes to working with your kids and getting their cooperation. All you need to do is focus on enjoying the session.

FAQ

What happens if it rains on the day?
Ah the great British weather! Ever unpredictable, and often wet… it might surprise you to learn that the photos shown here were taken on a soggy day. As long as the rain isn’t too heavy we can still capture some magical photos. If it does rain heavily and we need to cancel, I’ll offer you the option of a refund or transferring your booking to my Autumn Mini Sessions.
How much does it cost?

The mini session costs £135 which includes a 20 minute shoot, my editing time, a viewing gallery to select 5 fully edited high resolution photos for downloading and printing; plus the opportunity to purchase additional photos at £15 each or £125 for the full gallery.

Do you pose us?
There is an element of posing in my sessions, but it’s mostly about getting you into a comfortable and flattering position so that you’ll look your absolute best in the photos. For the most part, I work in a very natural and relaxed way, encouraging you to interact with each other. My sessions are definitely not about having you all sitting perfectly and smiling for the camera though.
Where is Cotswold Lavender Farm and do we pay entry?

Entry is £7.75 per adult, £3.50 for 5-15 yr olds, and free for under 5’s. Entry fees aren’t included in the session fee, so I recommend making the most of the day there by bringing a picnic and soaking up the tranquil atmostphere (oh and sampling the ice cream!).  For more info visit the website: www.cotswoldlavender.co.uk

How will we find you on the day?
We’ll exchange mobile numbers ahead of the day, and I’ll text you with the exact spot to meet at on the day of the session – usually this will be by the entrance or cafe.
Are you insured?
Absolutely! I have insurance for my equipment and public liability.
Can you supply prints and framed images?
I can! I work with a professional photography lab that produces really high quality products. A full price list will be supplied.
